Brooklyn Book Festival

This Sunday brings us another Brooklyn Book Festival, the largest free literary event in New York City. A few of the authors attending are Paul Auster, Carol Higgins Clark, Edwidge Danticat, Pete Hamill, Joyce Carol Oates, Colson Whitehead, Dennis Lehane, Terry McMillan (who I signed books by last year!), Sapphire, and Billy Collins. There are almost 300 more!

I’m delighted to be signing books at two booths this year. Here’s my schedule:

12-2PM: The Las Comadres/La Casa Azul Bookstore tent, tables 121 and 122, in the section facing the Brooklyn Court House

2:15-3PM: Northwestern University Press booth (Come check out the latest books from my awesome publisher!)
